Gift for Big Sister

I'm trying to think of a good gift to give my 8 (soon to be 9) year old daughter when the baby arrives.  I am having a RCS, so she is aware of exactly when she should be expecting her brother.   She has been the only child and grandchild (on both sides), so this will be a big transition.  She is very girly and mature for her age.  I was thinking of giving her a "real" (as she would call it) small diamond necklace or something of the sort.  Try to make it something special. 

Anyone who has good ideas, please post them!   She will be with her Grandmother while we are in the hospital, so she will not be there for long periods of time.
