Sore Fingers/Hands?

So for the past few weeks I've noticed a lot more swelling in my feet and, not a huge amount, but some in my hands as well.  Over the past week I've noticed my hands are sore, mainly were my fingers and hands meet.  Anyone else having this issue?  I'm assuming it's because they are swollen but it's just an odd feeling.
