Intro and a question

Figured I'd move over to 3rd tri since I'm 27 weeks now. Hoping that baby will stay put until much closer to my due date, but I have been having a lot of contractions so I'm not really sure how long he will stay put. On Friday I was having contractions every two minutes and they had to stop them with terbutaline. I know that some braxton hicks are normal, and luckily they weren't dilating me at all. If they start again and I begin dilating, then they said they will be putting me on bed rest. My fingers are crossed that it was only a bump in the road. 

 Anyone else have to get meds to stop their contractions and still make it to the end of their pregnancy without being put on bed rest? Or, if you did have to have your contractions stopped, when did you end up delivering? 

I know everyone is different so what happened to you all won't necessarily happen to me, but it's still interesting to hear everyone's stories.
