first child, when will i know if im going into labor!?

im 36 weeks pregnant with my first child. i went to the doctors yesterday and she said i was 2cm dilated. ive been leaking down there, more than i ever have. how do i know if my water broke? ive been having stronger contractions but they only last 15 to 30 seconds and about 2 every hour maybe 3. should i be worried about going into labor soon! someone help
