Alcohol at shower

My best friend is hosting my shower at my house. She just emailed me to check in about the shower saying all the decorations and drinks were bought. Then she asked if I had a wine bottle opener. I don't really want my shower to have wine or alcohol. I don't think its appropriate and I rather not chance anyone getting drunk. I'd feel awful if she already spent a bunch of money on booze and I tell her I don't want any there. Is alcohol typically served at showers? How should I handle this? Should I just let her serve it or tell her no?
