Choosing god parents for 2nd child

Okay I'm at a loss for picking a god parents for my little girl. My problem is they need to be Catholic and I have given my husband choices and he's given his opinion which is fine but I don't want to offend either girlfriend if I picked one over the other!!!?!? Help?
