worried about a rash

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and decided to treat myself to a spa pedicure. Now I have a rash on my leg that is red and burning. I left a message for my doctor and haven't heard back. I'm worried about infection and having to take antibiotics and whether this can affect the baby. Any thoughts or advice?
