quick PP stuff question!

heading out to get my supplies for PP. I'm petite, can I get away with either regular or long pads instead of extra long? I hate hate hate pads with a passion and need this to be as comfortable as possible!

and then what about for after those first 2 weeks of heavy bleeding? will a regular panty liner work?? 

the kotex website suggests these in this order. do I really need them all?
- overnight maxi pad
- regular maxi pad
- ultra thin pad
- light days pantiliner

anything else I need? my list:

pads
nursing pads
disposable wipes (can I even use those or are they irritating?)
nursing tanks (how many??)
underwear
