Dumb question

And I mean really dumb. I have had more than my fair share of spotting this pregnancy. I bled for my pap, will spot after sex, and spot if problems going to the bathroom. The doctor did mention that my cervix is just a little more sensitive than most during pregnancy but nothing alarming. Well today, none of those issues applies and here I am spotting again. The only thing I can think of is that I ran the vacuum. And come to think of it, there were other times I vacuumed and spotted but there were usually the other circumstances with it. So, my question is, could that really cause it? I have a doctor's appointment on Friday so I will bring this up again there. I told you, really dumb question.
