Have your pregnancy/labor conditions been genetic?

Have you had similar pregnancy symptoms as your mom?  What about your labor experiences?  I was adopted at birth and reunited with my birth mom a couple of years ago, so I'm facinated by genetic similarities between us.  I was her first, and she said her water broke with me and I was born 5 1/2 hrs later, so I've been wondering if I'm more likely to have a quick labor like she did.
