Beta #4 - 88 hrs doubling time

I called into my RE to see if my beta was in. Sure enough, it had.

The nurse who answered said that beta #4 came back at only 1235 today after being at 580 on Thursday. She said the doctor had not reviewed it yet and my assigned nurse would be calling me with the next steps. I did the calculator and this puts me at a doubling time of 88 hours. I know what this probably means, and it's not good. Right? I had to leave work I was so upset and pretty much ugly cried the whole way home.

The weird thing is that my assigned RE nurse emailed me a few minutes later and her email didn't seem worried whatsoever. and in fact is scheduling us for our ultrasound next Friday. She said "It will be very early and we may not see a heartbeat of even a baby at that point" (which will put me at 7w2d so I think if we don't see anything, that would be bad but correct me if I'm wrong.) 

Am I overreacting again, ladies? This has been progressively slowing down - 50 hours, then 59 hours, and now 88 hours. What are your thoughts? I had hope and it's seriously dwindling.
