My husband is a police officer and I just read in the daily report that the arrestee he had yesterday has SCABIES. I've not talked to DH about it yet but normally he is good about wearing latex gloves, but I don't know if he did this time. Even still can't they be transmitted without skin to skin contact?

I recall my little sister getting them when she was in daycare and our whole family having to use that disgusting ointment from head to toe and washing all our everything. What's the treatment for pregnant women?

I'm debating calling my OB who is closed Friday or contacting workmans comp Dr's for the city which we work.
