1st Ultrasound

DH and I went in yesterday afternoon for our first ultrasound. Everything is looking great although no heartbeat could be detected yet. My doctor is going on vacation next week so she wants me to come back on Friday morning for another. I am a bit irritated because she implied yesterday was too early (5w5d) even though her office called me to schedule the appointment. We paid a lot of money OOP for a shared risk program (that thankfuly worked on the first try) but it does not cover betas or confirmation ultrasounds. I am hoping our insurance will cover at least part of the ultrasounde since we will now have to have 3 before I graduate to my OB.

Anyway, bottom line is that things are looking good!! Big sigh of relief!!
