Announcing to girlfriends

My group of girlfriends and I have been friends since junior high. 17 years later and I am the first one of us to get pregnant. I am excited to tell them, but would prefer to tell them in a group setting. Problem is I live in New York and they are all in Massachusetts it's nearly impossible to find a time to get everyone together! I considered sending an email but it seems so impersonal should I just wait until we are all together? I am 12 weeks 4 days and anxious to have the secret out. I don't plan on ever making it Facebook official too many randoms that don't really need to know.

Any suggestions? Am I totally over thinking this?
