FML - warning, gross

My m/s was easing off, but apparently last night I contracted some sort of stomach virus. Middle of the night, woke up to violent vomiting. If my m/s was a 3, this was an 8 or 9. Happened a few more times in the early AM. I've spent the entire day sipping water and fighting to keep it down. Just managed to keep a little chicken broth down.

I go into the bathroom for a pee break, and what do I find on the bathroom floor? A dead, chewed, bloody mouse. Thanks, cat, seriously. How am I supposed to deal with this?

I had to call my husband, who is across town working on a project, to come home and clean it up for me. I'm not an exceptionally squeamish person, but there is no freakin' way I can clean mouse-blood off the bathroom floor and not lose my cookies again.

This is the second mouse in a month. Prior to this, in 8 years in this apartment, never had a mouse. So now i have to figure out how mice are getting in, and deal with that.

At least my cat is a mighty hunter.
