He doesn't want to latch!

We were discharged from the hospital yesterday and he was latching great for colostrum. LC came by and said he had a great latch. Today my milk has come in, and he seems so upset every time I put him to breast. He will cry and beat his arms around and refuse to latch. He will suck on my finger or a pacifier to calm himself down, then when I offer him the breast again he has a meltdown. I tried pumping to soften my nipples and express a little milk before he nurses in case he has an issue with the let down. That doesn't help either. Any thoughts?
Ps we use the pacifier sparingly only in melt down scenarios since will literally chomp down on my breast if I give him my nipple to pacify.
