To BF or not to BF with #2

Hello Ladies once again I have a question!

So I'm at a fork in the road on weather or not to BF my upcoming LO or not. We moved a couple of months ago and sadly all my breastfeeding stuff was lost (pump,pads,shields,cream) and I wasnt so worried about it then because DD no longer breastfeeds anymore but now with number 2 on the way Im not sure if I should try or not. DD only breastfed the 3 days we were in the hospital then just stopped so I pumped and there were some supply complications (she decided she wanted 4oz every 2 hours and i was making 2oz every 4oz) and we eventually gave up and switched to formula. Im afraid thats going to happen again with this one so I dont know if I should go the extra mile and buy all this stuff or just stick to formula....advice?
