We announced to my mom and her husband this weekend that we're expecting #2, DS wore a "can you dig it? I'm going to be a big brother August 2013" shirt, they were very excited!  We thought they needed a little happy news, their entire first floor was destroyed by hurricane sandy and they just moved back in a month ago after a ton of demo/remodeling.  Then a week ago their house caught fire and they have to redo part of their main floor again and are back in a hotel for a few weeks.  Thankfully the news made them both very happy!  I am glad we didn't wait until 12 weeks to announce to them - but we're still waiting to announce to everyone else.
