XP Diflucan

Over this last weekend I've developed my first yeast infection or what I'm pretty sure is a yeast infection. Itchy lady parts that sort of burn when urinating. I called my doctors office and asked if I could take anything for it and without having me come in they called in a prescription for Diflucan. I trust my doctors opinion but I've heard varied reviews about its effects on LO during pregnancy. Have any of you ladies taken it and not had any issues? Is there any OTC suggestions instead?
