UGH MIL! Baby's name

So if we have a girl her name will be Isabella Sadie. If we have a boy his name will be Connor Deane.

 My DH just text me and said he thinks if we have a boy we should spell it Conner instead of Connor because his mother said typically Connor spelling is used for last name but it doesn't matter however I want to spell it is good.

You think?! DH and I both agreed we prefered the or spelling and I just looked in our phonebook and there is not one last name spelled Connor but there are plently last name Conner's so not sure where she got her info from. MYOB!
