First appointment - short & sweet

I had my first appointment today at 9 weeks!

All looked and sounded good to the doc. I was surprised how short the appointment was! DH came so we both saw the U/S. Baby measured at 8w4d and doc said heart rate looked good (already a "bad mom" and didn't ask what the HR was... oopsie!) New estimated due date is 8/31 - so I'm here to stay on the August board.

 We are still planning on staying "mum" for now to extended family and friends until my 11 week appoint (NT screenings).

 Sorry nothing more exciting to report - but it's our first and we live far from family so I have to share my news somewhere!
