An "is it normal" question :)

Something our daycare provider said this morning got me thinking...  Is it ok that my 5mo old still wants to eat close to every 2 hours (she really only stretches it out if she's napping or overnights).

I' was under the impression it was pretty normal because she is BF but maybe not?  FWIW she takes 3 4oz bottles and 1 3-ish oz bottle at daycare (I try to make the last one smaller so she'll be more eager to nurse when I get home from work).   She usually goes about 2.5 hours between.

At home she nurses really close to every 2 hours and in the afternoons she gets a 2oz bottle after nursing (totaling about 6-8oz for the day which is what we determined she needs to keep her weight up). Although this weekend she seemed ok with 2 oz on Sat and 4oz on Sunday. 

 

I guess I just have FTM insecurities and want to make sure I'm not damaging her somehow
