STM+....Infant seat vs bouncy seat

The papasan-type infant seats were just becoming popular with my 2nd and 3rd babies, so I never had one back then, and am wondering people's thoughts on vibrating infant seats vs standard bouncy seats? Has anyone had both, and if so which did you prefer?
