Graves Disease and PTUs

So my doctor called me in last minute yesterday to tell me I have Graves Disease (hyperthyroidism/an over active thyroid gland) and wrote me a script for a medicine they called PTU. Kind of freaked out to take it knowing it can lower my white blood cell count. But they said if I don't take it, the baby would be in danger for a miscarriage, still born and so on. So I plan on taking it, but the pharmacist told me it will interact with my beta blocker that I take for my heart. So I haven't been taking it so far because I have been waiting for a call back from my Cardiologist to know its okay to take with my beta blocker. I have called many times yesyerday and this morning already and still no call back. Getting to the point where I just want to take the PTU so nothing happens to the baby. So lost right now.
