Not pregnancy related- well sort of

Help ladies. I have hair almost to my waist.  I am notorious for letting it grow, then chopping it off, I don't like it on me in-between, I like it either short or long. I am getting the urge to cut it again, but really hesitant, bc this time it took me almost 3 years to grow it out. It used to grow SO FAST!  I have donated to Locks of Love 3 times, and of course would do it again, but don't let this sway your decision. My hairdresser, and several close friends have said not to do it while pregnant, bc I am emotional and hormonal... I just think I want to cut it, but don't want to regret it... Here is what I am looking at. which is better? advice?  TIA!
