I posted this on the working moms board as well to try to find some answers/suggestions... Basically, we are struggling financially at the moment. SO got laid off and is still looking for work. I know that I can make some fast cash waiting tables, but it seems like an impossible thing to do while breastfeeding. During a busy shift, like friday or saturday night (when you make the best money), I could go a good 7 to 8 hours without being able to pump. I've had a few family members try to tell me otherwise, but if you have ever waited tables, you know that its not logical to try and find the time to pump during the rush... I'm worried about engorgement and clogged ducts but more than that, I'm worried about my supply! I definitely have an over supply right now but i'm just hitting 6 weeks of EBF.
What's the longest I could go without pumping/nursing and keep up the supply?
