Does dad get dirty?

Might be a dumb question, but I'm a FTM. Just wondering if my DH will be getting "dirty" during my labor and delivery? We will be in a birthing suite for the entire time at the hospital. Are fluids going to splash all over his shoes and pants etc. Just trying to plan what to make sure he packs in his hospital bag with what he needs. Thanks!
