Milk blisters

After googling my problem it seems that I have milk blisters on one of my nipples. After a feeding it basically looked like milk was stuck under the skin...it also looks kinds like a white head pimple but that is too gross to think about. It is more than one as well. I would say that about 1/3 of my nipple looked like this. I showed my Ob today and she was less than helpful so I was wondering what others have done to help or prevent this from happening. My breast with the milk blisters has always been a lot more painful even before the blisters appeared.
