Breastfeeding

Working Moms: When there's not enough milk?

When you have borderline not enough expressed breastmilk to send to your child's caregiver.....do you send backup formula or something else (for those who have started solids)? What if your baby rarely, or never, consumes formula and then all of a sudden needs to start supplementing when mom returns to work?

p.s. I'm assuming you'd have to send something because having the baby go hungry is not an option......but how have you worked that out, or what has your experience been?
