Did my coworker really just ask me....

I just started a new job and moved to Australia from the USA. A coworker, who I met today patted my stomach and asked if there was a little person in there! I was shocked and said no. She was clearly very embarrassed then and later apologized to me.  I am 5'6 and weigh a little less than 140 still. I do feel I have the bloat bad and guess my stomach is not proportionate to the rest of me at the moment. I am still wearing my skinny jeans etc  I just can't believe someone would ask that and even more its making me nervous that others think it too. I have my work xmas party on Saturday and not sure how to dodge everyone asking me if I want a drink.  Any advice? It is too soon to tell people!
