pumping at work 1 day a week

I am starting a new  job (just on saturdays) that will keep me away from LO from 8:15am until 5:30pm. They are very accomadating to nursing moms  

Right now I have a single breastpump that is on its last leg. I am considering getting the lansinoh double electric pump. I only have to pump on this one day every week and Im not interested in spending hundreds on a new pump. Do you all think that its worth the money? I want a double pump so that I can pump faster at work.

I have not pumped in about 6 weeks. I tried one time and nothing came out (and I was engorged!) When should I started to pump a bit to get used to it so that I dont have issues at work? I start on 12/1
