Looks like I'm having a c-section. Whats everyones best advice?

I've read tons on natural birth but now its looking like a c-section is the safest option for my large baby. Calling to schedule in the morning. As much as I've tried to prepare for the possibility of a c-section I still feel uninformed about recovery and what its really like. I've prepared my split level home with supplies on both floors and will have help from my Mom. Just wondering what advice or what supplies people found most helpful in their recovery after surgery
