All Purpose Nipple Ointment

I was prescribed All Purpose Nipple Ointment for yeast on my nipples. The Nurse practitioner who prescribed it said to wipe it off before breastfeeding, but it says on the label not to wipe it off. Anyone who has been prescribed this, do you wipe it off before feeding or not?
