In a lot of pain, help please?

Hi ladies, I would really appreciate some help/advice. I'm a first time mom of a three week old and have been breast feeding him since birth. He latched on straight away and has been eating and gaining a healthy weight since.

This past week however I'm having quite a bit of pain during feedings. I know I have a strong letdown and sometimes it can be overwhelming for him. But he has started taking my nipple into his mouth when it is barely open and clamping down. I try un latching and re latching him with the same results.

Any advice? Thank you in advance!
