Gassy baby with BM but not with formula?

My LO is 5 1/2 months and has been EBF. I have been back to work for a month and have been pumping 2x at work and 1x at home, plus nurse when I am there and at night. I had a dip in my supply and it was recommended to supplement formula by the pediatrician. When my lo exclusivly gets BM she is VERY gassy to the point of crying in pain. We give her gas drops and she'll expell the gas and then be ok but it takes time for that to happen. When she is given formula, she does not have this problem. I am wondering if I should try an elimination diet and remove her supplement of formula to see if its something that I am eating or get advice from the pedi. I am afraid that she is going to recommend that I formula feed for the majority of the day and only BF at night. Any suggestions?
