My 11-month-old just got his monthly book from Dolly Parton... and I wanted to share it here, because it's cute in a BF-oriented way.
(You should see if your area has an affiliate - Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - it's a free program where you get an age-appropriate book in the mail every month until your child enters kindergarten. It's super fun and both my boys love it.)
Anyway, the book is The Pink Pup by Johanna Kerby and it's about a piglet runt who gets milk from a dachshund mom and it's a really sweet, true story... might be a nice change from the standard "this is what it's like when the new baby will come" books and nonfiction about farm animals for those who are looking for BF representations to orient a soon-to-be-big-sibling or entertain a bigger kid while you're marathon nursing a little one.
