Pumping at work new technique?

So I worry about pumping and everyday is a struggle to get the oz I need. I noticed another mother in our pumping room who has a double electric pump as I do, and then at the end manually pumps with a harmony. Has anyone heard doing this? Ashe said she gets an ounce more esasily every time after she has nothing le coming out of electric pump?
