First day at daycare over feeding?
DS is 5 months and today was his first day with an in home day care provider. He's normally at home with DH, who feeds him 3oz every 2.5hrs while I'm gone, but says he would eat more if he let him. He's also a frequent evening nurser when I get home and is up every 23hrs at night.
She's taken care of breast fed babies before. I nursed at 5am. His schedule said he ate 5oz at 7, 7oz at 10:30, 6oz at 1:30 and 1.5oz at 4. He nursed again at 5:30pm. She said he didn't spit up at all, which he does a lot at home.
That's way too much, right? Is it possible that he might just be that hungry during the day and that's what keeps him up at night? Of course if he's still up every 23hr tonight I'll have to tell her to scale it back because I only pumped 14oz instead of the 20oz she fed!
