Hospital grade pump question

I started calling the medical supply companies with which my insurance has contracted to supply breast pumps.  One of the companies supplies only the Melodi pump, which is hospital grade.  I will need to pump while at work.  As a soon-to-be, first time mom, I have no clue about the size/weight of a hospital grade pump. 

Does anyone know anything about the Melodi pump, or hospital grade pumps in general?  There is another company which supplies regular, electric pumps (Playtex, Medela, etc...). Am I better off with one of those because I will need to transport the pump to/from work?

Any direction is appreciated :-)
