Any tips? Method you used?

My son has only STTN maybe 10 times in his life, and he is 10.5 months old. He has a strong nurse to sleep association. We nurse to sleep and then he wakes two times a night usually and can only nurse back to sleep. If my husband tries to rock him or soothe him, he freaks out.

I am wanting to wean him at a year because of this, but just typing that I feel guility. I had hoped that if the night feedings went away by now, we could still nurse beyond a year. BF hasn't been too difficult for me, so it makes sense to keep going for a bit. He shows no signs of wanting to stop.

Any tips on night weaning? I am not willing to do CIO, that may be obivious since if we did he might very well be STTN by now.
