Reaction to fenugreek

I started taking fenugreek yesterday. 3 capsules 3x per day then one dose today. I have had horrible stomach cramps and bad diarrhea. I know this can be a side effect so I stopped taking it. But DD has been nursing allllll day long. If she isn't nursing she is crying. She hasn't napped all day. Could her stomach be upset from it as well? She does not have diarrhea. Any suggestions?
