Bleeding?

first of all this might be a little tmi, sorry in advance...

So this is my 4th pregnancy, but I have only carried my first to term.  I have never experienced any bleeding before at all during any pregnancy.  I am now 18 weeks along and yesterday when my man and I were (TMI alert) having some fun, he found some blood on his finger.  It was not very much, but was bright red.  I didn't feel any pain or anything else.  It seemed to stop, and later when I went to the bathroom I just saw a very tiny bit of old blood (brownish colored).  Should I be concerned?  Is this considered normal "spotting"?  Nothing since yesterday at all...
