How do you keep it to yourself?

So we have decided not to tell our families about the pregnancy until Christmas, but I ended up blabbing to my bosses (I'm a nanny and very close with my employers) and my DH also told a friend of his. Now I want to tell the whole world. Plus a couple of my girlfriends know I suspected pregnancy the week before I tested, so they are wondering why I haven't updated them.

 

How do you muster up the willpower to keep it quiet? When did you tell or plan on telling?
