indoor cat and litter

So my OB asked yesterday if i have a cat, i do. Asked if i clean the litter, i dont. I didnt realize there is such a thing as toxoplasmosis. While i have had this cat for 6 years and he is an indoor cat i cant help but worry now, naturally right? I do walk around barefoot and sometimes i do step in the little trail of granules the cat leaves behind on the floor but nothing else......should i even bother worrying?
