Blessed thistle and gas?

Has anyone taken blessed thistle and noticed it causing LO gas? E has had such bad gas the last few days that she has been waking up every 2 hours, which is not like her, and crying the saddest cry, which is not her normal cry. Once she toots, she will stop crying for a minute, but it comes right back. And I can feel bubbles in her tummy just gurgling. I've tried mylicon, gripe water, bicycling legs, tummy massage, etc. the only thing I can think of that has changed in my diet is adding blessed thistle. Thoughts?
