No regular urine tests?

I went for my 12 week check today, and I sat out in the waiting room waiting and waiting to be able to get back by the exam rooms to give my specimen. I had been holding it for 20 min already so you can imagine the little dances I was doing! LOL. Well, I finally got called back and said, "Can I have my cup? I really really need to pee." And I was told, "Oh we only do a urine test at 16 weeks with all your bloodwork now. We don't test every month anymore." When did this start? My DD just turned 2 in July and I had to do it every time with her.

On a good note, I did get to see my fave OB before he left and he said he's going with my other EDD (April 8th) because my uterus is more like 13-14 weeks right now. And I got to finally hear the heartbeat! Hopefully hte nasty dreams about a missed miscarriage will stop now!
