Leaving baby in car
I just saw an Amber alert on the news for the entire state if Illinois and it reminded me of the thread yesterday about leaving LO in the car just to run in the gas station.
The Amber alert is for a 3 week old baby who was taken out of the backseat of a car parked outside a post office. This sickening for so many reasons, obviously bc the woman who kidnapped the baby was wrong. This could have easily been prevented by taking the baby out of the car regardless of how inconvenient it was.
I'd rather lug the carrier around with the baby than risk anything happening to my baby.
