is anyone waiting to tell family/friends?

We are 7 weeks along now but still have not told any of our family or friends.  We will not have an ultrasound until 12 weeks because of our military hospital (they have different thoughts about when we can have ultrasounds) so we are just a little nervous to tell people without even seeing or hearing the baby's heartbeat yet.  We could go at 10 weeks but my husband can't go until 12 weeks and I'm not going without him.  We don't live in the same state as our family and since I'm not showing yet (just look like I ate a few too many cheeseburgers), I don't think they will be able to tell if they do come visit before then.  Anyways, it's just so difficult to keep it a secret... especially since I feel so bad from morning sickness.  We would just tell our parents and wait to tell everyone else later but we don't think his parents can keep the secret.  Is anyone else waiting till 12 weeks to tell?  If not, how long did/are you waiting to tell family and friends?
