Has anyone else noticed an increased pressure on their cervix early on in 2nd (or more) pregnancies?

During my first pregnancy I didn't become aware of my cervix until the last few weeks. I'm not sure if maybe I'm just more sensitive to things since I've already identified the sensations or if there's something different this time.

Background: I had a vaginal birth with my son and ended up with a 2nd degree tear as well as a rectocele and cystocele which obviously weakened the vaginal walls considerably. I'm not sure if that's playing into things and whether or not to be concerned.

I just have this fear that I'm going to spontaneously dilate and lose the baby. I have an appointment with my midwife in a week and will of course talk to her about this, just hoping for a little reassurance that I'm not the only one to notice a difference.
