Kids' View on Names (Funny Story)

A friend was at our house once with four of his kids. For some reason they were talking about names.

The first kid said, "Jon," (my husband) "what's your mom's name?"

Another one said, "Oh, I know! It's Melanie!"

The third said, "Did you just say his mom's name is Melon?"

The last, so logical, said, "Melon's not such a bad name. Some people are named Barry." (He thought it was "Berry.")

 I'm not suggesting people name their kids after fruit, but I was thinking about this story and thought you might like to hear it.
